Two Years Before the Mast

In what I thought at first might be a tale torn from the pages of Richard Henry Dana's high school summer reading staple, I was introduced to the curious (and somewhat furious) tale of  Reza Baluchi a man with a dream who became a Coast Guard nightmare all at the same time.

There's something timeless about a tale of a man against the sea, even if in this case the timeless tale is being told by Artificial Intelligence (AI) that I believe speaks to all of us, even if it's only mumbling.

Speaking of intelligence, artificial and otherwise, in this case, threatening to blow stuff up with a bomb that you invented from whole cloth, is probably not the best use of whatever brainpower Reza had not yet gotten sea salt into.

Maybe the old saying, fifth time's the charm will prove to be true. Fair winds and following Seas, Reza, and don't take any wooden hard tack.
